if gold award
all that glitters is not gold. even the if gold award for the signage system for adidas is made of anodized aluminum. of course this fact does not prevent us from being glad about it, especially our project manager carolin himmel, dirk zweering, project manager at kadawittfeldarchitektur, and ulrich krebs of adidas.

13/13/6
these frames stand for the upcoming year: it is limited in time, but open in its content. just like a blank paper you can write on, paint on, burn, tear, cut, bend, perforate or fold. the way 2013 unfolds, lies in our hands. these thirteen different folded forms, printed in thirteen color combinations of six different colors, appear like a sequence of events. we wish you a new year rich in colorful and varied unfolding opportunities.

intuition
in her bachelor thesis »die kunst des findens von etwas« (»the art of finding something«), karolina rosina questions the role of intuition in design.
» […] the question was posed to those, who live from their intuition; who are successful; whose works are widely acknowledged in profession and in society. those who have answered are the greatest in their field – creatives, who concern themselves with design in its most different facets – ruedi baur, david carson, raban ruddigkeit, erik spiekermann and andreas uebele.«
we are pleased to be part of it!
