the good life – gebrüder weiss atlas, issue 24: the good life
editorial design
lauterach, 2025
atlas redefines how we look at logistics. rather than presenting it as a technical or niche industry, the magazine reveals how deeply it is embedded in everyday life – and how closely it is connected to the diverse needs of people around the world.
the issue “the good life” explores what defines a good life today. it combines statistical data with narrative elements and philosophical questions, creating unexpected connections between global facts and personal experience. a distinctive visual approach reinforces this idea: photographs of simple everyday objects are carefully staged to illustrate data, making abstract numbers tangible and memorable. all objects are depicted at a 1:1 scale, further emphasizing their familiarity and connection to everyday life.
fully bilingual (german/english), atlas is designed for international distribution while maintaining a coherent visual and editorial identity. the result is a magazine that shifts perspective – from logistics as infrastructure to logistics as a human-centered practice.
