html-polka

poster on the occasion of a html workshop at the university of applied sciences düsseldorf, 2012

this cheerful dance shares both its country of origin – the czech republic – and its name with the speaker: petr pščolka explains – quick-quick-slow – the rules of programming to design students. the typeface has been twisted into two-four time, too, communicating the need for design to hold sway over technology, taking the lead as it promenades its partner: hand-in-hand, hands-on-hips, hop and skip.
