hf müller writes backwards – hf müller, visual identity, öhningen 2012

hf müller was bored at school and so he taught himself to write backwards. it’s a detail, perhaps, but it forms the basis of the simple and highly individual typeface that defines his corporate design. in life as in art it’s often the small things that matter and that we need to attend to. or, to look at it the other way round, a small thing like the artist setting the words the other way round only adds to the attraction.
