stölken schmidt architekten

the architects don’t want a logo. so what are we left with? a name in all its uniqueness; a word; logos. the word itself becomes a legible sign. the name de scribes what they do, it diciphers the let ter ing. the surface is defined, the space ecomes visible. places are formed, condensing into legible structures. the construction principle, the arrangement of separate parts, changes the text. words become signs, carefully arranged to form an image.
