merhaba, bonjour, hello – welcome center, visual identity, stuttgart 2014

the welcome center is an institution created by stuttgart and the greater stuttgart region to help new arrivals coming to work in this flourishing part of the world make a successful start to this new chapter of their lives. the logo – a letter mark – represents the way newcomers are woven into the existing fabric and integrated in local networks, while overlayered diagonal bars visualise the desire for international integration. the design unifies this diversity of nation, identity and culture in a single form, symbolising that every new citizen is welcome here.
