political exchanges
bringing national identities together generates its own dynamic, taking assumptions for a ride, turning certainties on their head. a change of perspective can change everything. this parliamentary youth exchange programme sponsored by the us congress and germany’s bundestag (national parliament) channels an impulse to connect peoples and promote peace. and as positive as the initiative itself is the fact that its logo, a transatlantic carousel, is used by both institutions. make merry-go-round, not war.
